Super fresh update
James Cromwell is asked by the uppity Chuck Todd why the version of events in "W" should be taken seriously (he actually asked why it wouldn't be seen as the angry liberal version of reality...is he living in this country?) Cromwell lists several books from which the material was drawn, Chuckie scoffs at the mention of Kitty Kelley...Cromwell says to Chuck: your opinion is supposedly (heh) researched, my opinion is researched. Oliver researched this story and this play and it should be viewed as such. I fucken heart James Cromwell. That'll do pig, that'll do.Fresh update...the mayor of America, thinks...wait, don't let me ruin your reverent moment...that...ACORN is perpetrating massive voter fraud. OK fine. How does he explain the polling numbers then? No one asks and no one answers. Sonofafuckingdouchnozzle.
UPDATE: I think Joe Scarborough is Canadian. After his last screed on the HORRIBLE, HIDEOUS deficits ::collapses into heaving laughter:: his mouth...I swear to God and this bottle of Jim Beam that I saw daylight between his mouth and the back of his head. He was literally unhinged. So HEY INS. Morning Joe is clearly a Canadian infiltrator...wake up white more southern than where joe came from people. I mean shit...what kinda country is this???I'm pissed and am typing from the spoken word so please be kind...
At the risk of sounding like a jerk, I'd really like to know when that cold chill went through Cindy upon hearing about Obama's nefarious vote against troop funding.
Yes, I'm saying it flat out. I heart him with all the fuzzy emoticons available to a "netizen". I heart his intelligence and understanding. I heart his toughness and kindness. I heart his ability to fight without killing. I heart him.
I watched the debate. I thought Barack was amazing. He did everything he should've done. OK, so...
I stay up late at night way too often these days. I drink too much, way too often these nights. I'm so damned tired. I really am, I'm at my wits end personally, I am living in a jobless community and am one with my bretheren. I am left behind. In every way I am the ignored in this country.
I'm weary of the nonsense. I really am. The revolting rumor-mongering I read elsewhere reminded me of every nasty thing I ever read about Barack Obama. No point in going into all that crap again. It's beneath anyone who derided NQ and H44, seriously. The one thing that seemed to catch fire was the one thing that was the least likely to be true. This infuriates me. Sarah Palin is political low-hanging fruit and too many people decided to eat the animal turds on the ground. WTF?
I've been thinking all night about Obama's concession on offshore drilling. I'm a fairly pragmatic person so his quote wasn't an "oh noes" moment for me. I've tried to explain to people I know why offshore drilling is nothing but a BS campaign year boondoggle but gosh darnit their gas costs lots and they seem to think gasoline will come pouring out of the ocean beds if we just make some holes down there. Sigh. So to be honest I am content with this decision, it's a loser as an issue with the general population and his framing was exactly right. He's for it as long as it is part of a comprehensive energy bill that addresses alternative energy in a serious fashion and as long as the drilling in question is as ecologically safe as possible. You can drive a truck through most of his caveats but whatever ;)
Hi, I don't post here much but I do like to read. Its an interesting and cantankerous community. Very committed and it seems quite at odds.
I wrote a diary here a few weeks ago called "Pollyanna". I wrote as a supporter of both candidates. I was ultimately an Obama supporter and voter but I would have been happy with either. Two good Democrats, two great choices.
